Rituals of Memory Summary
Kimberly M. Blaeser wrote Rituals of Memory. His article about being a product of multiple cultures. Blaeser compares our relationships to family, place, and community to her friend’s curly hair because it’s connected to everything. Blaeser argues that our memories and storytelling define us on Memorial Day. We all come from different cultures. She went to American cemeteries and then went to Indian Burial grounds combing her cultures. She talks about her double life in school and in her Native American culture. Her memories all show who she is.

2. What qualifies this paper as a summary? What are the requirements for this genre and how did you meet them?
It's a summary because i made it really short of the article. I don't know the requirements for a summary but I think I reached them because I used the story in my own words.
3. What piece of advice would you give someone writing a summary for the first time? Why?
I would tell them to read the story and have them write what happened in it.
